About Me

I have had a long and rewarding involvement in the arts. With over twenty years of teaching experience, creativity and learning have been central to both my professional and personal journey.

I originally began my career working in Fashion and Textiles, developing a strong foundation in design, materials, and visual expression. Over time, I returned to a long-standing passion for painting, which led me to pursue further study and complete a degree in Fine Art, with a subsidiary in Photography.

The physicality of process and making has informed the way I currently work. I predominantly work in oils, though mixed media and printmaking are regularly layered together within my practice. I am also a printmaker, using screen printing, mono printing, and lino cut in my work.

Alongside my own creative work, teaching has remained an important part of my life. I value the opportunity to support others in developing their confidence, skills, and personal voice within the arts.

Art continues to be both a profession and a lifelong passion, and I remain inspired by the possibilities of visual expression and creative exploration.
